 Measure, mark, and cut your material for the side wall.   Frame the side wall. Layout the bottom and top 2x4 by 8 feet plate, The 2x4 78 inch wall studs will be spaced 24 inches apart. Nail through the plates and into the wall studs. 
   Install the 4x7 feet 5/8 inch T1-11 exterior siding while the wall frame is still on the floor. 
 Nail the siding to the wall frame. 
 The bottom of the siding will hang 3 inches past the bottom plate. 
 The top of the siding will be flush with the top plate.   Once the siding has been nailed to the wall frame, raise the wall. A temporary 2x4 brace can be used while you nail the wall. Nail 12d nails on the inside bottom plate, and into the floor decking. |
