Compost Bin Plans: Cinder/Concrete Blocks |
|
This cinder block compost bin will last many years. The blocks are not staggered, they are held together with mortar. So apply mortar between the blocks. Also you will want to add washers between the 1"x7 1/2" boards and the 1"x3" boards. The washers will serve as spacers, so the front boards can slide in and out easily, use as many as you need. These plans can easily be modified to build just one bin, or as many as you need. You can also use whatever boards you have available.
