Material needed: 5 1/2" x 6' cedar (cedar fence board) 1 1-4" finish nails 3/8" dowel 2 hinges

Using a table saw, jig saw, or hand saw cut the bird feeder pieces.
With a table saw cut a grove half the depth of the wood to the front and back of the bird feeder. |

Two of the four sides sides will have a 3/8" hole, for the 3/8" dowel. Measure 1/2" down. Measure 1/2" across. |

Drill a 3/8" hole where the lines cross. Two of the bird feeder sides will have a 3/8" hole. |

Using 1-1/4" finish nails, nail sides to the floor.
Insert dowels into place, cut to length, add wood glue to secure in place. |
